Where is the house located and how close is the house to the beach?
A: Casa Verano Eterno is located in the only gated community adjacent to the beach in Playa Guiones, the Guiones Beach Club. How many bedrooms and bathrooms does the house have? How many beds are there?
Casa Verano Eterno has 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms along with 3 outdoor showers (1 of which is en suite). There are 14 different beds: 2 king size beds, 6 queen size beds, and 6 twin beds

Casa Verano Eterno has 2 buildings, the main house and the rancho, which is a little casita.

Playa Guiones is rapidly growing. Is there any construction nearby or is there a lot of traffic like in other parts of Guiones?
Verano Eterno located in the Guiones Beach Club (GBC) which is a gated community. Most of the lots have been built on already but there is some construction here and there. There is some ambient construction noise in the background, but nothing too disturbing or at a high decibel level. There is little to no traffic passing by Casa Verano Eterno because it is strategically located at the furthest point from the GBC entrance. The land that Verano Eterno is on, backs up to a very large finca, so there are no “backyard neighbors” aside from some grazing cattle. Most of the sounds you will hear, are the sounds of nature: birds singing, gentle winds blowing thru the trees, the Guanacaste winds that aren’t so gentle howling thru the trees, sometimes we are blessed with the sounds of the ocean as well. Casa Verano Eterno is very peaceful and can be easily named Casa Paz & Tranquila!
We work remotely and our children do school remotely, how’s the wifi at the house?
The wifi is amazing and can support many people working remotely, multiple zoom calls etc. The wifi is supplied by Cable Tica which is the most reliable network in Costa Rica (the other option is ICE which has had a reputation of regular outages). Casa Verano Eterno’s wifi is available around the entire property, even reaching out as far as the road outside the property. Do you disinfect the house in between rentals?
A: Yes. The owner of Casa Verano Eterno, David Pokorny, is very interested in the health and well being of his guests. Being that he is immuno compromised, he takes disinfecting between rentals at Casa Verano Eterno very seriously. We use an electrostatic sprayer along with a 3M brand chlorinated disinfectant. The advantage of an electrostatic sprayer is that it allows for complete 3 dimensional surface coverage. The Victory electrostatic sprayer creates a positive charge which ensures the chemical solutions completely cover surfaces even in tough to reach areas of a home. How many people can practice yoga in the yoga shala?
If the teacher would like enough room to practice headstands or be socially distant, I would say about 15-16 people. If the teacher or the times allow for more people, the shala can fit about 20-25 people.
Which airport do you recommend flying into and what is the approximate drive time from the airport to the house? Can you arrange for a rental car or airport transfer?
We recommend flying into Liberia (LIR), which is about a 2.5 hour drive to Verano Eterno. San Jose (SJO) is also great but a much further drive, which is about 5-6 hours and possibly longer depending on the time of day and seasonality. We can indeed book a rental car or airport transfers for you and your group. We would just need your flight details.
